Cheetah's
Learning Principles
|
Cheetah Learning adheres to the
principles and practices of developing accelerated learning courses** as
outlined by Colin Rose’s seminal book “Accelerated
Learning.” We augment that with nearly 20 years of experience in studying
and creating adult learning experiences. In that time, we have found:
- The fastest and most effective learning
happens from individual self-discovery and reflection.
- People learn by using multiple learning
modalities and senses.
- Learning is a natural, and fun activity.
However, while adults enjoy learning, they don't necessarily enjoy being taught.
- Laughing enables people to become more open
to new experiences and new information.
- Self-directed improvement goals speed
learning.
- Learning for adults means assimilating new
information and experiences in a way that improves personal fulfillment,
effectiveness and goal attainment.
- People learn best in small classes, so we
keep our classes to under 25 participants.
- Diet, exercise, and lifestyle are critical
factors in people's ability to learn fast.
Based on these principles, we craft learning
experiences where you set your own improvement goals and self-discover learning
objectives through interactive, engaging, and entertaining simulations.
- These simulations are customized based on
each group's and organization's culture.
- We use established accelerated learning
principles to ensure you reach your learning objectives through the simulations.
- Our courses are carefully scripted and
tested to insure you learn through self-discovery.
- Cheetah Learning's approach is so
successful, we offer you a 100% unconditional learning guarantee.
** Many organizations claim they
use accelerated learning techniques, but if their courses consist of PowerPoint
presentations, accelerated learning principles are not part of their course
development. The “whole” student must be considered, including the impact of
diet, exercise and lifestyle practices on your ability to learn, fast. While
it’s easy for other organizations to say they use accelerated learning
techniques, it’s far harder to do it well enough that you can guarantee your
work.
